Serious Designer Shoe Deals at Piperlime.com

June 29th, 2007 by Margeaux

picture-4.png

Piperlime is a great new site from Gap. You can get up to about 40% off on just about any of your favorite shoe designers including: BCBG Max Azria, Steve Madden, Sketchers, Oscar by Oscar de la Renta, and a lot more. You can search by size, style, or color to get what you want. The prices are very reasonable, but for a great pair of designer shoes you are still going to have to shell out more than you would at your local Wal Mart. Piperlime

What Is The Sound of Starbucks?

June 28th, 2007 by AlanaBee

picture-10.pngSick of your music? Feel like you’ve been listening to the same ol’ stuff all of the time? Whenever I feel like I need a new hip sound in my ear I can always turn to Starbucks Entertainment to help me find the right thing.

I was sitting at Starbucks today on my laptop being bored and sick of my music, so I took a peak at it online, and found some pretty cool stuff - like the new White Stripes album “Icky Thump” or Ryan Adams’ “Easy Tiger”. They also have some hot mixed CD’s like “Summertime Groove”, which has various artists like Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding… a euphoria of summertime sounds, seriously. Next time you feel like you need to update your music collection, you’ll know where to turn. hearmusic

June 27th, 2007 by AlanaBee

london-fashion-week.png

It’s time for a vacation if you ask me…but the first thing I think of is how much is it gonna cost??? Well it’s not always hard to find a good vacation package, as long as you know where to look. So since I’m a nice person (cough), I’ll help you. With Contiki you can get the experience of a lifetime for cheap. You can get to London just in time for London Fashion Week in September. But if you’re traveling, don’t forget to get some fancy luggage while you’re at it. Perhaps a Kate Spade Lisbon carry-on. So go out and have fun in style.

Be a Wardrobe Stylist to the Stars at Stardoll

June 26th, 2007 by Margeaux

stardoll_2.jpg I accidentally stumbled onto this website, and it’s kind of cool. They have all kinds of stars, musicians, and athletes that you can pick out clothes, makeup and hairstyles for. There’s really no point to this except that its kind of fun to do if you’re bored. I did a paper doll of Paris Hilton, but to my dismay, they didn’t have an orange jumpsuit to put her in. Stardoll

Levis Introduces Mobile Phone

June 24th, 2007 by AlanaBee

picture-2.png

A new addition was added to the Levis accessory collection in Paris last week. The Levis mobile phone has a chic look with a steel casing, so if you’re anything like me and break all you’re phones…it might be harder to do with this on. The Levis phone also comes with other fun things, like music, pictures, and video. Sounds pretty darn good to me.

“Technology is at the heart of today’s youth culture and mobile phones are the ultimate accessory. Adding a mobile phone to our collection is a natural progression for Levis, a brand that is driven to meet the desires of young people.” - You Nguyen, Senior Vice President of Levis Product.

Dogs Take on the Catwalk at “Puppia”

June 22nd, 2007 by Margeaux

puppia.jpg(Puppia= Puppy + Utopia)… Being a cat person myself, I guess you have to be a dog lover to understand that kind of play on words, but that’s beside the point, because these little outfits for your little friends are cute!

Check it out, they even have a virtual catwalk (or for you dog lovers if you prefer to call it a dogwalk, but for me, I’ll stick with the catwalk and my cats). Link

Now Ralph Lauren is taking ‘window shopping’ to a new, literal level . A ‘Chicer Sneaker’ That’s All Your Own With NIKEiD

June 21st, 2007 by Margeaux

custom_nike_id_shoe.jpg

Let me just start by saying this is not only awesome, but very addicting. You can customize everything from your track pants to your running shoes, or even team gear! NIKEiD has a huge range of options for creating a shoe (or whatever Nike merchandise you fancy) that is completely unique to you, and check this out: you can even have your name put on it! Once I designed my first running shoe, I was hooked. It’s a fun way to figure out what you want instead of a trip to the store, because you are in control of what you’re getting, and if you decide you don’t like something, it’s as easy as a click of your mouse to change the design. Shown here is the running shoe I designed. You can pick these up for a range of prices, depending on what you’re buying. Seriously- if you don’t even need a new pair of shoes try this- its just fun!
