If you like modern and unusual furniture, then you might want to check out this unique chair by Ultra Modern. The Galileo Chair comes in black or orange. It has a very sleek design, but I’m a little skeptical about the comfort level of this oddly shaped seat. It would look amazing in the right room, and for $317, I’m sure the designers took comfort into consideration.

I was skimming over some spring dresses, and stumbled upon this interesting piece by Alexander McQueen. This draped silk dress is just a little weird to me. I understand that designers are always looking for new ways to express themselves, and create exciting sillouhettes, but this is just not flattering. It looks like her backside is literally frowning at me in this picture- maybe it wants out of this dress! But perhaps there is something I don’t see here, this dress is going for $2,280.00 at Bergdorf Goodman.

Green is the new black. Ok, I know that’s a little cliché, but “going green” is not only the right thing to do, it’s also becoming the “IN” thing to do. Whether you are already an avid environmentally conscious individual, or you just like things that are a little more unique and are glad to help the environment when you can, this is a great book by Dave Evans to help you find Cool Green Stuff along the way.

I love a great piece of handmade original fashion. Megan Avery has been an entrepreneur in handbags since 1998. You can check out her designs, and even design your own handbag on her site! The M. Avery Boutique is located in Hobken, NJ so if you are ever in the area, it would be a fabulous spot to stop and shop! The Danielle Loteria hobo bag is my personal favorite because of the funky print. There are a lot of unique fabrics to choose from, many of them are vintage inspired. Check them out, or design your own at M. Avery Designs.
