The news was broken today that Isaac Mizrahi will be leaving Target to become the creative director for Liz Claiborne. This new line will be revealed in Spring 2009, and will be a much anticipated collection. I’ll miss browsing the racks at Target, and seeing the Isaac Mizrahi label on the surprising, and stylish garments, but will look foward to seeing the new line. The customer base is different, but I have a feeling that Mizrahi’s flare will show through and be recognizable to the loyal Target shoppers (like myself).
